Lucy Pimpernel Wood, a painter from North Wales, draws inspiration from both her rural upbringing and the cultural vibrancy of city life. After studying Fine Art at Liverpool John Moores University, she developed a sculptural style of painting that blends abstraction, shape, and color with raised wire elements. Her work has gained national recognition, exhibited at The Biscuit Factory Gallery and Flowers Gallery, and is held in collections like the Grosvenor Museum and Four Seasons.

Now living and painting in Yorkshire, her art reflects the local landscape, with influences from modern masters like Barbara Hepworth and David Hockney. Her evolving style explores nature, time, sound, and memory through layering, weathering, and bold color contrasts. Lucy regularly exhibits locally and collaborates with Barnsley and Sheffield Councils, creating work that is original, confident, and innovative.
